- Join a specialty Cancer and Chronic Conditions Research team to support a portfolio of sponsored, collaborative and Investigator-led, Phase Ib-III Oncology and Haematology clinical trials.
- This is a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse seeking a senior position, who has completed or is enrolled to complete a postgraduate qualification. Preference will be given to an applicant with Oncology/Haematology and/or clinical research experience.

About the Role
As a Clinical Trial Nurse Coordinator, the key areas of this role are:
- Clinical and holistic patient care through enrolment, treatment and follow-up across a variety of clinical trials
- Completion of Ethics, regulatory, legal and budget requirements in conjunction with the start-up team and research coordinators/assistants
- To develop, prepare and maintain documentation for clinical trials according to the protocol, and oversee the completion of case report forms
- Timely reporting of serious adverse events and communication of relevant safety information
- To provide education and act as a resource to patients, whanau and the healthcare team

About the Team/Service
We are a team of Nurse Coordinators, Research Coordinators/Assistants, and a Finance/Administration Coordinator. We are part of the Regional Cancer Centre, within Cancer and Chronic Conditions. We work closely with the Medical Oncologists, Haematologists and Renal Physicians, the multidisciplinary team, trial sponsors and Clinical Research Organisations.
About you
As a Nurse Coordinator, you will need to be a hard-working team player with excellent time management skills, the ability to problem solve and work under pressure when required. You will need to hold a current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience, and have completed or be enrolled to complete a postgraduate qualification. Additional requirements for this role include experience in managing projects or quality improvement activities, and confidence in using Microsoft applications.
