Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for education, professional development, and making a meaningful difference?
The Assessment and Diagnostic Unit (ADU) is a dynamic, fast-paced environment providing acute care to patients across a wide range of specialties.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to deliver innovative, effective education that supports the ongoing development of ADU nursing staff.
As Nurse Educator, you will design and deliver nursing education programmes that align with learning and teaching priorities and support nurses to grow in their practice.
About the Team/Service/ Location
This role will be based at Waitakere Hospital.
About you
To be considered we will need the following:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
- 5+ years post registration experience in aa acute clinical setting
- Possess a postgraduate certificate in specialty practice
- Demonstrated teaching ability and experience facilitating learning.
- Strong clinical leadership skills and a commitment to nursing excellence.
- Drive and determination to develop innovative and effective educational solutions.
- Train the Trainer / Clinical Teaching
