About the Role

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. Regular cervical screening and human papillomavirus (HPV) immunisation are the best protection.

This role is responsible for managing the administration of accurate and secure data within the National Cervical Screening Programme Register (NCSP-R), ensuring quality and timeliness standards are met. You’ll support the smooth delivery of daily programme operations, including managing worklists and reports. A key part of the role is working with women’s health service providers to support wahine and people with a cervix through enrolment, timely screening, follow-up, and helping them access any missed screening opportunities.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at Greenlane Clinical Centre. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

About Us

Our team at the Health Services Connection Centre provide the administration of the National Cervical Screening Programme Register for Metro Auckland and ensure register data is accurate, valid and timely so that wahine and people with cervix get followed up for routine screening.

Health New Zealand Waitematā provides health services to approximately 650,000 residents of the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas. It has the largest population of any district health area.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Minimum 2 years administration experience in a health setting
  • High level of computer literacy and competence in Microsoft Office, high level understanding of Excel
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Good command of the English language
  • Sound data management skills including data entry, interpretation and analysis
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
