About the Role
The Intensive Day Programme is an exciting and busy service with a strong reputation for excellence and innovation. We provide a structured day treatment programme that provides clients the chance to participate in meaningful activities to aid in their own recovery.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The role is an opportunity work as part of a dynamic and passionate team. Your direct impact will influence the people we care for during vulnerable times in their journey through mental health. In addition to working within the Intensive Day Programme Team, we are also driven to develop resources within the Hawkes Bay community. This is a chance for you to contribute to the wider sector of Hawkes Bay.

About you
We welcome inquiries from registered nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists.
Key qualifications for this role include,
- Be registered with a professional body and hold a current practising certificate and certified to work within New Zealand
- At least two years’ experience working with people with mental health conditions within a mental health service
- Experience in group facilitation and the ability to work in a group environment
- Full clean drivers’ licence
- Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary framework
- Work within ethical guidelines and best practice standards
- Ensure a positive contribution towards improving the delivery of a first class service
- To provide high quality and responsive assessment, identify goals and treatment objectives with consumers
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of the Intensive Day Programme
- A great team player and have a sense of humour
- Flexible and open to working in new and different ways
