About the Role

As a Clinical Coordinator within Te Ara Manapou, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care across Addictions and Maternal Mental Health services. You’ll provide day-to-day clinical leadership, coordinate referrals and resources, and act as a key clinical resource for the team. This role offers the opportunity to influence service delivery, mentor others, and contribute to equity-focused, bicultural practice that supports tangata whaiora and their whānau.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Te Ara Manapou is based on Queen Street, Hastings and delivers specialist care in addictions and maternal mental health. Our team is committed to providing holistic, culturally safe, and equitable services that reflect the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We work closely with whānau, community providers, and other health services to support wellbeing across the region.

About you

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will bring:

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of NZ or an Allied Health Regulatory Authority
  • At least five years’ clinical experience in mental health, including community settings
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate clinical teams
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity in health outcomes
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
