About the Role

We are inviting applications from experienced and passionate registered nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists with a background in mental health to join our Care & Recovery team as a Keyworker.

Our Care & Recovery team delivers comprehensive assessments and recovery-focused interventions for adults experiencing serious mental illness and complex psychological disorders. We are committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward stability, wellbeing, and independence.

Based at Kainga Tiaki Centre, our service is grounded in a recovery-oriented philosophy and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. We provide specialist assessment for individuals with existing or suspected mental health conditions, particularly where there is associated risk or functional impairment. Our team offers a wide range of evidence-based supports and interventions tailored to meet each person’s unique needs

About the Team/Service/ Location

Kainga Tiaki Centre, located in Eden Terrace, is a welcoming and supportive service with a strong foundation of collective experience and a culture of collaboration and goodwill.

We provide a comprehensive range of mental health assessment, treatment, and support services to adult residents across central Auckland. Our work is grounded in a recovery-focused, person-centred approach that recognises the diverse needs of the community we serve.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated clinician to take on the role of Keyworker, someone who is ready to embrace the challenges and rewards of delivering integrated, recovery-oriented care within the Te Toka Tumai Auckland adult community.

As part of our dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside experienced mental health professionals to deliver tailored, high-quality outcomes for the people we support.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving equitable health outcomes for the people we serve. You will take responsibility for maintaining a safe and supportive work requirements and hold high standards of clinical documentation in line with regulatory requirements and manage your caseload effectively to ensure quality and timely service delivery.

You will also meet the following minimum requirements:

· Demonstrated clinical expertise with a strong commitment to person-centred care

· Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients, mental health providers, government agencies, and community organisations to support recovery

· A current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)

· A Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health

· Previous experience working within a mental health setting

· A genuine and demonstrated commitment to bicultural practice
