About the Role
The Haematology Department at LabPLUS provides laboratory tests for the diagnosis and treatment of blood cell and coagulation disorders. Our highly skilled scientific and technical staff work together with a team of haematologists to provide a quality service (paediatric, neonatal and adult) with in depth clinical interpretation. LabPlus has a strong Core Haematology section with specialist testing being done in Special Haematology, Coagulation and Cell Markers.
We are looking for a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Haematology team at LabPlus, Auckland City Hospital. This is a 12month Fixed Term position.

LabPLUS is an IANZ accredited medical laboratory and one of New Zealand's premier laboratories. LabPLUS is part of the state-owned Auckland District Health Board. We offer a comprehensive pathology service for Auckland City Hospital, Starship Children’s Hospital, National Women's Health, and the Greenlane Clinical Centre. About you
Experience in a diagnostic Haematology Laboratory service is preferred and you must have provisional or full registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand. For details, visit www.mscouncil.org.nz
