About the Team/Service/ Location
You’ll be based in the Maternity Service at Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, working closely with the Chief Midwife, Te Kaihaukura Māori Midwife Lead, midwifery teams, consumer representatives, and wider clinical and support staff.
Our service is guided by Te Mauri o Rongo and the Hau Te Kura review, which emphasises culturally safe, whānau-centred care and equity for Māori and Pasifika.
This is a collaborative, values-driven environment where your leadership will help shape the future of maternity care in Te Matau a Māui.
