About the Role

We are seeking experienced MRI Technologists to join our casual workforce, supporting MRI services across Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre, and Starship Children's Hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified MRI professionals seeking flexibility while working within one of New Zealand's largest and most advanced tertiary healthcare environments. As a casual team member, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services that play a critical role in patient diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing care.

Our MRI service operates across four state-of-the-art scanners:

• 1.5T Siemens Sola - Auckland City Hospital: cardiac imaging and a mix of inpatient and outpatient examinations
• 3T Siemens Vida - Auckland City Hospital: primarily acute and inpatient imaging
• 3T Siemens Skyra - Greenlane Clinical Centre: outpatient imaging services
• 3T Siemens Skyra - Starship Children's Hospital: paediatric imaging, with some adult examinations

As part of our casual pool, you will be offered shifts based on service requirements and your availability. Shifts may be rostered between 7:00am and 8:30pm, Monday to Sunday.

Our multidisciplinary workforce includes Medical Imaging Technologists, MRI Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Radiologists, Nurses and Clerical staff, all working together to deliver safe, timely and high-quality imaging services.

About You

We are looking for experienced and adaptable MRI Technologists who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

You will be comfortable working across a range of clinical settings and patient groups and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.

You will be available to work across:

• Auckland City Hospital (Adult Radiology)
• Starship Children's Hospital (Paediatric Radiology)
• Greenlane Clinical Centre (Outpatient Radiology)

Important Skills

You will have:

• Current registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
• Demonstrated MRI scanning experience in a clinical environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care
