About the Role
The primary purpose of the role is to:
Provide cultural advice and support to mental health & Addictions Services.
Support delivery of culturally safe services for Tangata Whaiora and their whanau
Provide guidance in Te ro maori, Tikanga and Kawa
Work with clinicians, community agencies, iwi and hapu to improve outcomes

About the Team/Service/ Location
Te Ara Maioha consists of all Mental Health and Addictions services under Hospital and Specialist services within Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti. These services consist of ICAMHS, Te Whare Awhi Ora, Community Mental Health and Addictions, Mental Health Crisis Team, Cultural Assessment team and allied support services.

About you
- Ability to korero in Te Reo Maori
- Knowledge of Tikanga and Kawa Maori
- Ability to work with Maori Iwi, Hapu and Whanau
- Ability to work alongside other agencies and professionals
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
