About the Role

Applications are invited for Registrar positions in General Medicine and Medical Relief (Internal Medicine) at Waikato Hospital for a fixed term period commencing 2nd February 2026 until 2 August 2026.  Please note that we have no vacancies in any other rotations currently..

Recruitment is subject to a competitive interview process following the submission of an up-to date curriculum vitae, covering letter, passport and three current references, one of which must be from your current or most recent supervisor. This must be submitted at the time of your application.Referee report

Please note that your application will not be considered unless all three references are attached to your application.  Please see the link above to the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) referee report - this is the only referee report the MCNZ will accept for registration purposes.

About you

As an Internal Medicine Registrar, you will be………

  • PGY3 or equivalent

     

  • Interested in broadening your clinical exposure
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand
