About the Role:

As part of one of New Zealand’s busiest healthcare environments, you will work within the operating theatres, supporting a dynamic and multidisciplinary team. Your role is pivotal to the smooth running of patient care, and your efforts will be valued by patients, staff, and the community alike. This is a full time position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Support: Assist in transferring patients safely and comfortingly throughout the hospital.
• Equipment Management: Help with ordering, restocking, and maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
• Hygiene Standards: Ensure cleanliness and infection control standards are met in all areas of the theatre and surgical spaces.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a variety of clinical staff to ensure patient care runs smoothly.
• Customer Service: Communicate with patients, families, and staff to ensure everyone’s needs are met.
