About the Role
We currently have an opportunity available for a Health Care Assistant to join our Perioperative department at Tauranga Hospital on a casual basis (as and when required).
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our dynamic Surgical Services team on a casual basis. In this role, no two days are the same. Working under the direction and delegation of our registered nursing team, you will support patients through their vital pre- and post-operative journeys.

About you
The successful applicant will have:
- A caring nature with a good work ethic
- Current experience working as an HCA in a health care setting or in a related health care service
- A mature outlook, a methodical approach to working under pressure, and excellent communication skills
- A certificate in Health Care Assistance, Level 3 or 4 is preferred
