About the Role
This role supports our Haumaru Whanau Team (Violence Intervention Program) in Hawkes Bay, a group of three clinicians working in the Family Violence and Child Protection space.
The focus of this role will be on recording and distributing minutes for various meetings, collating and uploading clinical information to patient management systems, supporting the team to provide clinician training as well as other administration tasks to support the team as required.
Working hours will be focused around the meetings with some flexibility around the rest of your time.

About the Team/Service/ Location
The Haumaru Whānau Team comprises three clinicians working closely together and focused on the Violence Intervention Program (Family Violence) and Child Protection Program across the Hawkes Bay region including Wairoa and Central Hawkes Bay.
You will have an office at the Hawkes Bay Hospital campus.

About you
Due to the sensitive nature of the information, you will be dealing with, a high degree of emotional maturity is required for this role.
- You will be highly organised and able to independently manage your workload.
- You will have proven skills around taking minutes
- A knowledge of the Health New Zealand patient management systems would be an advantage but not essential.
- Familiarity with the child protection and family violence systems in Aotearoa would be an advantage. Proven skills in cultural competence and cultural safety are essential in these roles.
You are committed to developing and building strong systems to protect and grow our Violence Intervention programs and implement national policies and directions resulting from the Dame Poutasi report and the release of the Health New Zealand Child Protection Policy.
