We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join our respected Gerontology Nursing team, where your emerging expertise will make a tangible difference in the lives of older adults across the Waitematā district.

About the Team/Service/ Location

This role will be based in Rodney (Hibiscus Coast & Warkworth) - with potential inpatient work at Waitākere Hospital

As part of our community-based team, you’ll be supported to work both independently and collaboratively with Geriatricians, General Practitioners, Residential Aged Care providers, and whānau to:

  • Champion proactive, person-centred care
  • Improve access and health outcomes for older people
  • Diagnose, assess, and manage complex health needs across the care continuum

About you

You’re a clinical leader who inspires others and drives excellence in gerontology care. You bring:

  • Proven experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Gerontology
  • A Master of Nursing degree with advanced assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills
  • A passion for education and continuous improvement in gerontology practice
