  • Medicine Scheduler – Patient Service Centre
  • Parental leave cover up to 10 months

  • Part time, 24 hours per fortnight

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer driven & experienced administrator to join our friendly and supportive Elective Services team, to support Planned Care service delivery within the Patient Service Centre.
The purpose of this role is pivotal to co-ordinate the patient’s journey and to ensure that the patient receives timely appointments within the appropriate planned care service. The role covers all aspects of booking and scheduling, from referral to procedure, through to administrative discharge. You need to have attention to detail, be efficient and ensure optimal utilisation of the service provided to the public within the Waitemata District. This is a fixed term role covering a staff member on parental leave for up to 10 months.

About you

As the first point of contact for our patients, your customer service skills need to be exceptional and it is essential that you have a good command of the English language (both written and verbal) while presenting a professional image to our community.

• Knowledge of hospital information systems would be an advantageous but not essential (however Training will be provided to the successful candidate)
