About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Administrator to join the Emergency Department at Tauranga Hospital. This is a casual position working as and when required. The service operates a 24/7 roster so you must be available for weekends and nights if rostered.
This role is responsible for the provision of high quality, accurate administration and customer service support to patients, families, health professionals and all other consumers of Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Emergency Department Administration team is an integral part of our clinical team supporting the service to achieve best practice acute care standards, quality care and performance outcomes.
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We serve a population of approximately 308,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty’s largest employers with over 4500 staff.
