Dietitian Community Child Health Takapuna Permanent Fulltime

About the Role

This role sits within the Community Child Health team where a range of community, outpatient, and in-reach models are utilized with the populations we serve.

You will be provided with clinical and professional supervision and be encouraged to access both internal and external professional development opportunities.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of dietitians north and west are an integral part of our Community Child Health team. Co-located in North Shore Takapuna you will work collaboratively with the MDT Including: Children’s Community Nurses, Paediatricians, Speech Language Therapists, Social and Cultural Case Workers, Visiting Nuerodevelopmental Therapist, Occupational and Physiotherapists.

About you

As a Paediatric Dietitian you will need

· A New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate and current NZ drivers licence

  • At least 2 year’s post-graduate experience and experience working specifically with children
  • A working knowledge of Family Centred Care with a positive energy to working closely with whānau
  • Experience working cross-culturally
  • Preferably also Dietitians prescribing scope of practice, current member of Dietitians NZ, and teaching or research experience
