Fixed Term Roles – Te Toka Tumai Auckland Hospital & Counties Manukau Middlemore Hospital

We’re offering a fantastic opportunity to join our high-performing team supporting medical staff across Auckland’s District Hospitals. We currently have 2 fixed-term openings at Te Toka Tumai Auckland and Counties Manukau Middlemore, covering parental leave and an internal secondment.

About the Role

As a Daily Operations Advisor, you’ll be at the centre of RMO (junior doctor) operations, providing essential day-to-day support and working closely with hospital service teams to ensure staffing and resources are in place, both now and into the future.

You’ll be involved in HR administration for the RMO workforce, including leave planning, roster coordination, and navigating district systems and processes. It’s a fast-paced role where you’ll juggle competing priorities while delivering excellent customer service, whether face-to-face or over the phone.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings empathy, approachability, and resilience to the table, along with strong communication skills. You’ll be confident building relationships with stakeholders, thrive under pressure, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team. Bonus points if you’re great with Excel!

Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, or HR administration is advantageous, but if you’re detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable with Microsoft tools, we’ll support you to grow into the role.

Our team operates Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 4:30pm, with some rostered after-hours and weekend cover for our Locum Bureau.
