Customer Liaison Support / Receptionist, Manukau Health Park

About the role:

Are you a customer service professional passionate about supporting people and delivering warm, welcoming experiences in a healthcare setting? Join us as we are looking for an exceptional Receptionist to join our close‑knit Manukau Health Park Outpatients Site Administration Team, where compassion, empathy and professionalism is at the heart of everything we do.

As the first point of contact for our patients and whānau, you will play a vital role in their healthcare journey providing reassurance, clear communication and a calm, professional approach in a busy outpatient environment. You will work alongside clinicians, nurses, managers and wider administration teams to support the delivery of high‑quality outpatient care for our Counties Manukau community.

Role details

• Permanent Part‑time: 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
• Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Location: Outpatient Front Entrance Reception, Manukau Health Park 901 Great South Road, Manukau

About you

This role is ideal for someone who can:

• Deliver outstanding customer service with genuine empathy and compassion working collaboratively within large, complex healthcare environment
• Engage confidently with patients, whānau and colleagues through strong verbal and written communication, bringing a can do approach to your daily work
• Bring a minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer‑focused administration (healthcare preferred)
• Confidently use MS Office and adapt quickly to new digital systems
