About the Role:
We are looking for a community-minded Superstar who is warm, welcoming, and passionate about making a positive impact on people's health journeys. As our Customer Liaison Support / Receptionist stationed at our front entrance, you are the friendly face that patients, whaanau, and visitors first meet at Manukau Health Park (MHP).
You will be the exceptional face of the organisation, providing clear directions, accurate information, and a compassionate presence that embodies cultural understanding and respect. This role is essential in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.
We currently have a part time position available, working Fridays from 7.00am to 5.00pm. Flexibility is essential as you may be required to provide cover at short notice from Monday to Thursday.
About you:
You thrive in a busy environment and are confident managing multiple priorities with professionalism and a calm, problem-solving attitude. As the first point of contact for many, you can be trusted to work independently and bring a strong sense of integrity to everything you do.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills—whether in person, over the phone, or via email
- A team player with a customer-first mindset
- Culturally aware and respectful, with sensitivity to Te Ao Māori and Tikanga and knowledge of Te Reo Māori would be an advantage
- Well-organised with the ability to multi-task and adapt, calm under pressure
- Clear, professional communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Confident using Windows-based computer systems
