About the Role
Are you a CAMHS clinician seeking variety, pace, and the opportunity to strengthen assessment, risk management, and brief intervention skills?
The Kari Centre is recruiting clinicians to join our Acute Focused Team, you will provide urgent and acute assessments, crisis response, referrals management and brief therapeutic interventions.
In a community outpatient setting, you will work with children and youth across a broad range of mental health presentations, alongside key stakeholders including family/whanau. You will complete mental health assessments, triage referrals, deliver evidence based therapeutic interventions, and contribute to multidisciplinary risk assessment, formulation, and acute care planning. This role suits clinicians who enjoy dynamic, fast paced work, teamwork, and clinical variety.

About you
To be a successful applicant for this role you will meet the below minimum requirements:
• Hold a New Zealand registration with a current APC (Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist, or Child Psychotherapist)
• Hold a full, clean New Zealand driver licence
• Experience working with children and young people in mental health
• Strong assessment and risk management skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments
