Clinical Surveillance Programme Coordinator
- Based at Auckland hospital (Grafton), Full-Time, Permanent role (40 hours, Mon – Fri)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Clinical Surveillance Programme Coordinator to support the operation of our clinical surveillance programme.
In this vital role, you will ensure that referrals for monitoring and treatment procedures are processed in line with established service guidelines. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient and whānau data, including colonoscopy procedure reports, within the service’s database. Please note a significant part of this role is obtaining and entering clinical procedure reports (clinical data entry).

Join our dedicated and collaborative New Zealand Familial Gastrointestinal Cancer Service (NZFGCS). We are a national service funded by Health New Zealand.
About you
We are offering a fantastic opportunity to a skilled, motivated, and high-performing individual, who can demonstrate resilience, flexibility, and bring a professional and positive attitude to all that they do.
You will also:
- Hold a relevant science degree
- Have at least one years’ experience working directly with patient information
- Demonstrate familiarity with applications used by Te Whatu Ora in managing and processing patient related information
- Previous experience working with a clinical database is preferred
