About the Role

As a Clinical Records Release of Information Administrator, you will be play a vital role in contributing to the successful operation of our Clinical Records Service, responsible for completing the release of patient information in addition to a range of Clinical Records tasks within an expected time frame.

About Us

The Clinical Records Service at North Shore Hospital is a busy and constantly changing “hybrid” Clinical Record environment, responsible for processing all electronic and paper-based patient information for patients in the Waitematā District.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a high level of discretion, ensuring confidentiality of all patient information
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Have a high level of computer based expertise to download, save and combine paper scanned and electronic files
  • Be comfortable standing, moving, and lifting throughout the day – a good level of physical fitness is required
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your day-to-day workload
  • Have a professional approach with excellent communication, time management, and problem solving skills

Having previous clerical experience working in a Clinical Records environment would be highly advantageous, but training will be provided to the successful applicant.
