Based at 7 Springs Road, East Tamaki, we have an opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to work alongside the Team Manager and Senior Medical Officer to support and enable best available clinical practice, participate in quality improvement activities and wider initiatives across the Youth Forensic & Youth Justice sector.
The Service operates at the interface between Mental Health Services and the Youth Justice System, including working in partnership with colleagues across Child & Adolescent CAMHS teams, Tū Māia (Regional Hub) and key stake holders.
As a senior nurse this role has responsibility for leading and improving the quality of specialist consultation and input provided by youth forensic services. This includes maintenance and review of quality activities and providing input into meeting clinical service objectives outlined in the annual business plan for Mental Health and Addiction service.
About You:
- NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum 5+ years recent clinical experience in mental health (post registration), including community mental health teams
- Relevant Postgraduate qualification completed or near completion
- Full & Clean NZ Drivers Licence
