An exciting opportunity at HNZ Lakes to join our Gastroenterology team as an Upper GI Clinical Nurse Specialist.
The CNS will support the Gastroenterology consultant team by coordinating the pathway throughout treatment for patients with upper GI disease.

About the Role
The primary functions of the role are to ensure a patient centred service through the provision of specialist nursing care, advice and support to patients/family and their carers throughout their care pathway, and provide education and speciality practice support to clinical staff throughout the organisation.|

About you
We need an experienced nurse with either a background or interest in Gastroenterology nursing. As an advanced practice role we also require evidence of clinical leadership, effective communication skills across the professional, multidisciplinary and client population, motivation and resilience to drive innovation and change in this exciting service opportunity. You are expected to have gained a Masters or working towards.
