About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Angiography, you will utilise specialist nursing knowledge and skills to provide patient focused care and coordination that will optimise the patient’s journey, improve health outcomes and ensure that an excellent quality of care is provided.

This role will focus on inpatient and outpatient population referred to the Cardiology Service for Angiography and Angioplasty from referral to admission and discharge from the Cath Lab and follow up through the nurse led post procedure clinics.

You would be joining a team of multidisciplinary dedicated staff who work together to enhance cardiac health and wellbeing for those who live in the stunning region of Te Tai Tokerau, Northland.

About you

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Angiography, you will have a strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and ensuring an excellent standard of care delivery. Our successful candidate will show an ability to adapt to new challenges who communicates effectively, listening to and encouraging the viewpoints of others.

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse/Midwife with current practicing certificate
  • At least 7 years post registration experience
  • Relevant Post Graduate Diploma
  • At least 3 years’ experience in relevant specialty area
  • Designated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)
  • Experience and/or a certificate in Adult/Clinical Teaching
