The Role:
Are you passionate about supporting and developing your nursing colleagues and want to share your knowledge with others? We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Coach to join our People and Professional Development team. This is a pivotal role dedicated to supporting the professional growth of our nursing workforce, ensuring safe, evidence-based, patient- and whaanau-centred care.
As a Clinical Coach Nurse, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of patient care by developing and coaching nurses in their clinical practice. You will work closely with Nurse Educators, Charge Nurse Managers, and senior nursing staff to:
- Coach, mentor and support nurses in oncology, haematology and other clinical areas.
- Facilitate competency assessments and deliver targeted professional development activities.
- Model excellence in clinical care and promote evidence-based, whaanau-centred nursing practice.
- Support preceptors and new graduate nurses in their transition and development.
- Create a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for staff.
- Champion equity, cultural safety and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday practice.

About You:
- NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- 3+ years relevant nursing experience in NZ (post registration)
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient or Expert level PDRP
- Post grad qualification preferred
