We embrace a workforce that is diverse and inclusive so that we are better positioned to understand and service our community. We welcome applications from our diverse Maaori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities.

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join the Kidz First Centre for Youth Health team.

Kidz First Centre for Youth Health is an interdisciplinary team of health professionals who provide advice and support for young people, along with their whaanau. Our team includes nurses, doctors, social workers, psychologist, and occupational therapists who are all trained in core youth health skills. We also provide care to young people who have chronic health conditions, developmental concerns, psychosomatic health issues, high-risk health behaviours and gender diverse and transgender health care.

This is a great opportunity to meet young people and their whaanau in clinics and then to follow up with them in the community or at school.

At Kidz First Centre for Youth Health we believe that all young people have different strengths. We help by providing them with the information and skills that they need to manage their health and engage with their community.

We are looking for a registered nurse with a minimum of 12 months’ experience, who is adaptable, likes working in a team environment and is interested in developing their youth health skills.

Essential:

  • Current NZ Nursing Council Annual Practicing Certificate
