About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with a high level of expertise in surgical nursing to join our Education team in the role of Clinical Coach, General Surgery.
You will be a level three or four Registered Nurse with energy, enthusiasm and initiative who is interested in developing their skills and ability to coach individuals to deliver safe high standard of care.
In this role you will:
- Work at the bedside alongside staff, coaching and promoting evidence-based care and critical thinking.
- Foster a positive work environment incorporating the Te Toka Tumai values to ensure the service is a great place to work alongside your colleagues

This role would work fully rostered shifts, Monday to Sunday.

About You
To ensure success in the role you will need to have the following
- A minimum of two years clinical experience within Surgical Services.
- Proficient PDRP
- Preceptorship and Assessors Certification
- Evidence of your ability teach, coach and support your colleagues
- Clinical excellence in surgical care
- Enthusiasm to promote and encourage a multicultural workforce
- A postgraduate certificate or diploma in speciality nursing practice and previous teaching or education experience preferred
