About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Preanalytical Technician/Phlebotomist (or trainee) to join our Laboratory Service at Wairoa Hospital. The Wairoa site services a small, vibrant community in the sunny Hawke’s Bay.

As a Preanalytical Technician/Phlebotomist, you will perform phlebotomy, specimen receipting and registration, laboratory point-of-care testing (POCT) analysis, and maintenance tasks. Training, orientation, and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed.

This position is an excellent opportunity for those already working in healthcare or for anyone looking for casual work with the flexibility to fit your lifestyle.
