About the Role

Meade Clinical Centre – outpatient, nursing team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to lead with integrity, who is committed to quality and patient focused care and a strong commitment equity in healthcare. This dynamic role requires the successful person to communicate and coordinate the provision of outpatient clinics across many specialties and areas while keeping people at heart.

About the Team/Service

Meade Clinical Centre (MCC) is comprised of a diverse range of specialty outpatient clinics for a wide age range from infant through to adults with acute and long-term conditions. Our large nursing team of experienced nurses are span three levels of the MCC facility and support up to 950 patients per day. We facilitate a number of nurses led clinics including infusions & transfusions. What’s more, optimise effective running of specialist clinics with assessments, health promotion, patient education and coordination of investigations & minor procedures. It is imperative our MCC team is flexible and responsive to speciality services need to meet key health targets.

About you
As a Registered Nurse, you will have a commitment to delivering patient and whanau focused care with a commitment to quality and patient safety. Key requirements for this role are:

  • Someone who places “People at Heart” with commitment to delivering whanau focused service.
  • Has excellent time management.
  • Exhibits effective communication.
  • Has a caring and supportive attitude.
  • Demonstrates prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a willingness to learn new clinical skills and work in clinics if required.
  • Demonstrates varied clinical experience and a minimum of 5 year’s post registration experience within a New Zealand hospital/acute care setting.
  • Achieved expert level of practice on the PDRP or equivalent.
  • Has been involved with change management, clinical audits and quality initiatives.
  • Completed a post-graduate certificate and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
