About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Orthopaedic Physiotherapist who is passionate about interdisciplinary models, and has the skills required to lead change. This role is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the National Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal Hospital Pathway in Te Tai Tokerau, and to provide advanced physiotherapy into our local pathways to support efficient and effective clinical management for those with orthopaedic conditions (specifically osteaoarthritis) in our community.

About the Team/Service/Location

The Advanced Orthopaedic Physiotherapist is part of the Physiotherapy team, and will work closely alongside orthopaedic services to deliver on the requirements of this role. There role will be part of a national clinical practice network.

About you

  • Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current APC
  • Minimum of five years' clinical practice, with at least three years working in the orthopaedic/musculoskeletal area
  • Relevant post graduate qualifications
  • You will have superb communication skills and the ability to form strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across a range of settings
  • Able to work autonomously and harmoniously with other health professionals
  • Clear, concise recording and reporting
