About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an administrator who would like to be involved at the grass roots of the development and implementation of a new Specialist Tamariki Team. This type of opportunity is rare and would be attractive to someone who is a team player, creative, flexible and who understands South Auckland and its diverse community. The successful candidate will be part of the new Tamariki team and very much at the heart of its development.

We are seeking a motivated Administrator to join our Mental Health & Addictions Service team, based at 7 Springs Road, East Tāmaki.

This part-time position (Monday to Thursday, 5 hours per day) provides crucial administrative and customer service support to help ensure the smooth delivery of care across the service. You will work alongside a committed team of professionals in a role that adapts to evolving clinical and service priorities.

Hours: Monday to Thursday | 5 hours per day between 8:00am – 5:00pm

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong administrative background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

You will be comfortable managing a range of tasks, supporting a busy team, and providing warm and professional customer service – both in person and over the phone.

Key skills and experience;

• Previous administrative experience supporting a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence
