About He Puna Waiora
He Puna Waiora, meaning “a pool of wellness”, is our 40‑bed Adult Acute Inpatient Unit, designed to provide a safe, therapeutic, and flexible environment for tāngata whai i te ora. The unit includes sensory and comfort spaces, multiple lounges, and dedicated programme and relaxation rooms that support recovery and holistic wellbeing.
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, personable, and proactive Administration Support professional to join our Inpatient Administration Support Team.
This role is key to ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of the unit while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for service users, whānau, and staff. You will work closely with clinical and administrative colleagues, contributing to a positive, supportive, and engaged team culture.

About You
You will bring:
- At least 3 years’ administration experience, ideally within a health or clinical setting
- Experience in medical typing (advantageous)
- Minute‑taking experience
- Previous work as a senior administrator
- A strong customer service focus
- A high level of computer literacy, including confidence with Microsoft Office
- The ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
- A full NZ Driver Licence
We’re looking for someone with a warm and engaging manner, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to supporting high‑quality mental health care.

8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
