About the Role

Are you an experienced administrator looking for a rewarding role where your work makes a real difference? We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to join our Mental Health & Addiction Service based at Tauranga Hospital.

As a valued member of our administration team, you will play an integral role in supporting a range of clinical and operational services across Mental Health and Addiction. This is a varied and rewarding position, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can confidently juggle multiple priorities, and thrives on supporting others.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Personal Assistant support to the Nurse Leader.
  • Coordinating administration for workforce education and training.
  • Supporting the Mental Health Act Coordinator.
  • Delivering high quality administrative support across a variety of Mental Health and Addiction teams.

About the Team/Service/ Location

About you

This role is perfect for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy, varied environment and takes pride in delivering high quality support.

  • Initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, with a commitment to providing respectful and inclusive support.
  • Previous administration experience, ideally within a healthcare environment.
  • Experience working within a Mental Health setting is desirable.
