About the Role
 
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in delivering high-quality care in outpatient clinics. In this role, you will primarily focus on providing education and support to individuals diagnosed with gestational diabetes. You will work closely with our experienced dietitians and diabetes midwives, who will offer guidance and support as you assist patients in managing their condition.

About the Team/Service/ Location
 
In this role, you will be an integral part of both the wider diabetes team and the antenatal team, working collaboratively to provide comprehensive care for our patients. This role may involve working across both Waitematā sites – Waitakere Hospital and North Shore Hospital – allowing you to engage with a diverse patient population and gain experience in different clinical settings. About you
 
To be considered for this role, you will need to be registered with the New Zealand Dietetics board, hold a current APC: Ideally you will also have 
 
• Experience in outpatient clinical setting
• Experience implementing and delivering structured education for people with gestational  diabetes 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, coupled with strong time management and organisational abilities. 
• A positive, proactive attitude and a collaborative approach to working with patients and the wider team.

Current New Zealand Drivers Licence
