Acute Team North Shore Hospital / Te Whatu Ora Waitematā /Health NZ
1FTE (40 hours per week)
Te Whiwhinga Mahi: Opportunity
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Acute Team at North Shore hospital.
This role gives you the opportunity to provide quality early assessment, intervention, rehabilitation and discharge planning through a patient and whānau centred approach within an acute general medical, surgical and orthopaedic setting.
Nga Pukenga Motuhake: Important Skills
· At least 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting would be preferred.
· Flexibility and willingness to work across different areas to meet service needs.
· A good team player with excellent communications skills.
· Be able to work positively and proactively to optimise patient experience.
· Able to demonstrate an understanding of theoretical underpinning of Occupational Therapy and its applications in practice.
· Desire to upskill.
