Acute Inpatient Team North Shore Hospital / Te Whatu Ora Waitematā /Health NZ
1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
Te Whiwhinga Mahi: Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working in an acute inpatient team.
As a senior practitioner you will be part of a senior team providing day to day clinical expertise and support to the inpatient Occupational Therapist and wider Allied Health team in close liaison with the Clinical Coach, Advanced Clinician, Occupational Therapy Clinical Leader, Team Manager and Professional Clinical Leader for Occupational Therapy.
Nga Pukenga Motuhake: Important Skills
· At least 5 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist.
· Have strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with diverse occupational therapy knowledge.
· Experience working in an acute inpatient hospital setting.
· Flexibility and willingness to work across different wards to meet service needs.
· A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
· Organised and demonstrate strong time management abilities.
· Be able to work positively and proactively to optimise patient and team experience.
· Desire to upskill self and others.
· Preferably will have project or quality improvement experience.
