Occupational Therapist - Acute Adult Mental Health, Rodney

  • Permanent Part-time 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week)
  • Based in Red Beach

The Rodney Adult Mental Health team provides a range of services in the community to people aged 18-65 who are experiencing mental health difficulties. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated New Zealand registered OT to join a cohesive, multidisciplinary Acute Team providing assessment and treatment to service users with their family/Whanau during an acute presentation.

You will require sound clinical skills, previous mental health experience and be dedicated to supporting service users in their recovery. If you are able to provide specialist occupational therapy perspective aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of service users during their journey through an acute phase of unwellness then this could be the opportunity for you.

You’ll be required to hold registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and have a current Annual Practicing Certificate. You’ll also need a valid New Zealand Driver’s License.
