We are seeking an experienced, client focussed physiotherapist with a passion for paediatrics to join our dynamic team of physiotherapists and occupational therapists at Middlemore Hospital.

It is essential you have New Zealand registration and experience in paediatric inpatient and outpatient care. The workload covers many services including medical, intensive care, orthopaedics, burns and plastics and neonatal inpatients. Our therapists also cover respiratory and musculoskeletal paediatric outpatients. There are close relationships with the Kidz First child development team.
This position provides a fantastic opportunity to practice in a specialised environment working alongside other experienced burns and plastics therapists and access to experienced paediatric support. You will be working with a supportive multidisciplinary team in the well-respected Kidz First hospital and the National Burn Centre taking patients with burn injuries from all around New Zealand and Tahiti.
You will be responsible for rotational physiotherapists and undergraduate students as well as upskilling and credentialing physiotherapists on the weekend roster.
Essential:
- NZ Registered Physiotherapist with a valid Annual Practising Certificate
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people
- Ability to take directions and good communication skills
- Computer skills
- Full driver's licence
