We have an opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist with an interest in rehabilitation to join our team at Counties Manukau.

The role is part of the experienced rehabilitation rotations which will provide you with an opportunity to further develop your skills across a wide variety of rehabilitation and neurological settings. The 9-month rotations include acute neurology, acute care of the elderly, inpatient neuro-rehabilitation, health of older people, spinal rehabilitation unit and community stroke rehabilitation.

You will be involved in the supervision and development of rotational staff, rehab assistants and physiotherapy students. There is scope for involvement in service development projects and quality improvement work.

You will be professionally supported by a section head and other experienced physiotherapists as well as the wider team. We are committed to your continuing professional development through supervision, support and formal/informal training.

Essential

  • Minimum three years clinical experience
  • Previous experience working in a rehabilitation team
  • Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board, current APC
  • Full drivers licence

Preferred

  • Post graduate qualification
  • Experience supervising less experienced physiotherapists
