The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Allied Health professional to join our Otara/Mangere community team in a leadership capacity. This is a diverse and rewarding role where you will provide operational, clinical, and people leadership to support high-quality, client-centred care within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide line management and day-to-day leadership of the Allied Health team
- Deliver operational oversight to ensure effective, efficient, and equitable service delivery
- Offer clinical leadership to support staff development and excellence in practice
- Promote interdisciplinary models of care and a strong reablement focus
- Support service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Foster a positive team culture with open communication and collaboration
About You
You are a confident and capable leader with a strong clinical background and a passion for community-based care. You bring a collaborative approach and have a proven ability to lead teams, develop services, and manage resources effectively.
Essential
- Registration with a recognised Allied Health professional body in New Zealand and a current APC
- Minimum 6 years’ clinical experience in a relevant health setting
- Recent experience working in a community or rehab setting
- Experience in development and management of staff
- Full, clean driver’s licence
Desirable
- Previous experience managing Allied Health teams
- Demonstrated success in leading quality improvement initiatives
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant clinical or health leadership field
