The Opportunity:

Do you enjoy working in the community? Would you like to make a difference and be part of an exciting new 7-day rapid response service that is assisting patients to have a smoother transition from hospital to home. We are looking for a Rehab assistant to join our passionate Allied health team to achieve just that. The rehabilitation you’ll be providing will playing an integral role in improving the patient’s quality of life and remain safe in the community.

The role includes and not limited to:

  • Helping patients improve their mobility status
  • Supervising patient with their exercise programmes to maximise their output
  • Assisting patients with personal cares and ADL’s
  • Ordering, installation, and pick up of personal care equipment

Qualities we are looking for include:

  • Health Care Assistant qualification level 4 (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting
  • Good time management and ability to juggle clinical and non-clinical workloads
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full, clean driver's licence
  • Ability to work across 7 days
