We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Advanced Clinician/Senior Physiotherapist to join our team within our acute cardio-respiratory services. This is a fixed term parental leave position.

Our Physiotherapy services span across various medical wards, encompassing both general medical wards and several subspecialty wards. Currently, we have approximately 10 Physiotherapists, including senior and core clinicians, dedicated to working across these services.

This Advanced Clinician/Senior role will provide clinical leadership, knowledge and expertise to enhance patient care within this multidisciplinary environment by helping to coordinate, deliver, and support Physiotherapy services within medicine.

Essential:

  • NZPT with current annual practicing certificate
  • Extensive clinical experience and knowledge of acute physiotherapy practice, preferably in an acute medical/cardio-respiratory setting
  • A minimum of 5 years experience for senior clinician and a minimum of 6 years experience for advanced clinician role
  • Cultural awareness and understanding 
  • Clinical teaching experience
