We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland is currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Fertility Plus to provide culturally appropriate skilled nursing care, demonstrate professional accountability and leadership skills and to demonstrate continuous quality improvement in work practices
We currently have 1 FTE full time opportunity for a dedicated Reproduction Nurse to advance their knowledge and skills within a supported and specialised team.
Fertility Plus is the Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology Unit of National Women’s Health in Auckland, New Zealand. Fertility Plus has been at the forefront of fertility treatments in New Zealand for 30 years. It offers a range of secondary and tertiary reproductive endocrinology, infertility and sub-fertility services to the women of the Northern Region.
As a Reproduction Registered Nurse, you will be on the frontline of treating and consulting with families/whanau who engage with our services. The scope of this position will include a blend of practical nursing skills and educating the patients about the treatment process.
The ideal candidate has a current APC with proven experience in fertility service or Women’s health and is looking for their next opportunity to excel in a family–centric environment. Like the rest of our team, they will take pride in their knowledge of what the complexities of fertility and conception can bring and are eager to make a difference in this specialised area.
Our Nurses enjoy variety and autonomy as part of the multidisciplinary team and have excellent opportunities to work in other areas of Women's Health. You will be a valued member of a collaborative team and we will provide a thorough orientation as well as on-going support and training.
