NURSE CONSULTANT- General Medicine (0.6 FTE – part-time)

  • Part-time, permanent Nurse Consultant role (days/hours of work can be negotiated)
  • General Medicine experience preferable
  • Innovative and able to network with different stakeholders within the hospital.

 Te Toka Tumai has an opportunity for an experienced nurse consultant to join the General Medicine department. This position will encompass quality and research focused work while maintaining some hands on clinical practice. We have an amazing team environment where new skills are learnt on a daily basis.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

As a successful applicant, you will have:

  • Significant recent acute nursing experience
  • Excellent people and project management skills
  • Post graduate qualifications, Masters Level are preferred
  • Competent in the use of IT systems, e.g. Microsoft Excel
  • Current NZ Nursing Council registration and APC
