We are looking for a full time (1.0 FTE) Staff Grade Acute Physiotherapist to work within our inpatient services at Waitakere hospital. You will be working as part of an established inter-disciplinary team covering an array of conditions, including patients with orthopaedic, neurological and general medical conditions who require assessment and rehabilitation and often also have complex social and discharge planning needs. Te Whatu Ora – Waitematā is leading the way in the Northland region in digital innovation with electronic patient notes, e-prescribing and e-vitals and have strong links with our community and outpatient services.

Key requirements for this role: (see link to PD below for full details)
- New Zealand registered Physiotherapist
- 2+ years of recent inpatient experience
- Ability to lead, support and mentor / supervise junior staff
- Experience with student supervision
- Strong clinical assessment skills, great communication and fast thinking

- Salary range: $70,842 - $109,000 (step 1-10)
