Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Join our team as a Payroll Officer specialising in Leave Buy Outs and Transfers.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of employee Leave Buy Out Requests by offering accurate and personable service.
Your responsibilities will include verifying employee eligibility for leave buy-outs in alignment with company policies and legislative guidelines, while maintaining a comprehensive record of all requests received.
Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting checks on leave allocations in the Kiosk system and providing timely communication to both employees and managers regarding request status.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
Given the importance of this role, we are seeking someone who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clerical role, in office management, administration, accounting, HR or payroll with data entry skills and experience.
Experience of working with AMS Leader payroll system will be advantageous but is not essential. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
You will be described as a fantastic communicator who is self-motivated, proactive and has the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
