Kaitipu Ora Worker - Te Rito Ora, Womens Health Community Midwifery
Te Rito Ora is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team. We are a community-focused organization committed to supporting whaanau with infant feeding and nutrition in South Auckland. If you have a belief in breastfeeding, an interest supporting maama with safe infant feeding, and possess the skills in administration and social media management, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective social media strategy to maximize Te Rito Ora’s online presence.
- Create engaging content that resonates with our audience, is inclusive, and tells the story of our community.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver health promotion and communication messages effectively.
- Assist with event promotion and other related tasks as required.
- Utilize platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, to spark engagement and interaction.
- Keep content relevant and on trend while understanding the needs of our target audience.
- Manage administrative tasks including but not limited to, data entry, spreadsheets, and writing reports.
Requirements:
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong belief in breastfeeding and an interest in supporting whaanau with infant feeding and nutrition.
- Proficiency in administration tasks such as spreadsheets, report writing, and data management.
- Demonstrated experience in social media management with a track record of building and engaging online communities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools to track and measure the success of campaigns.
- Restricted or full drivers licence.
