Kaitipu Ora Worker with responsibilities for administration and managing social media.

Te Rito Ora is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team. We are a community-focused organization committed to supporting whaanau with infant feeding and nutrition in South Auckland. If you have a belief in breastfeeding, an interest supporting maama with safe infant feeding, and possess the skills in administration and social media management, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective social media strategy to maximize Te Rito Ora’s online presence.
  • Create engaging content that resonates with our audience, is inclusive, and tells the story of our community.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver health promotion and communication messages effectively.
  • Assist with event promotion and other related tasks as required.
  • Utilize platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, to spark engagement and interaction.
  • Keep content relevant and on trend while understanding the needs of our target audience.
  • Manage administrative tasks including but not limited to, data entry, spreadsheets, and writing reports.

Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong belief in breastfeeding and an interest in supporting whaanau with infant feeding and nutrition.
  • Proficiency in administration tasks such as spreadsheets, report writing, and data management.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media management with a track record of building and engaging online communities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools to track and measure the success of campaigns.
  • Restricted or full drivers licence.
